Clinicians Super Family C 2000 Powder provides a 24-hour Vitamin C activity to support everyday health, immunity & circulation. Scientifically formulated with esterified Vitamin C in combination with citrus bioflavonoids for enhanced activity in the body. It also contains Vitamin B2 for additional antioxidant support.

Vitamin C is an essential antioxidant vitamin that the body cannot produce. Its main function in the body is its role in producing collagen, the substance that makes up ligaments, tendons and connective tissue vital to the body structure.

Vitamin C supplementation has been shown to enhance the immune system; promote wound healing; support neurotransmitter and hormone production and promote the health of all cells in the body. Vitamin C is one of the most important antioxidants. It works in an aqueous environment in the body intracellularly and extracellularly. It is considered as the first line of antioxidant protection in the body and therefore much research has been undertaken into its potential role in preventing chronic diseases resulting from free radical and oxidative damage.

Vitamin C deficiency may occur as a result of poor dietary intake or the using of conventional medications that are known to be associated with depletion. Vitamin C deficiency can result in a diminished immune response, susceptibility to infection and slow wound healing. Vitamin C supplementation corrects a condition called scurvy, one of the oldest known nutritional deficiencies. When Vitamin C stores are low, there is increased susceptibility to illnesses, therefore, it is essential to maintain healthy stores of this vitamin.

How to Use

Adults & adolescents over 13 years: 1 rounded 5ml measuring spoon daily. 
Children 9-13 years: ½ a 5ml measuring spoon daily.
Children 4-8 years: Take ½ a 2.5ml measuring spoon daily.

Mix with juice, water or fluid.

Note: Daily dosage for children can be taken in divided doses during the day to minimise bowel looseness in those with sensitive bowels.

Suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
