Thompsons Lysine Lipclear

Thompson’s Lysine Lipclear helps heal cold sores, which are painful, fluid-filled blisters that form on the borders of the lips most often caused by the herpes simplex 1 virus. These contagious blisters break and then crust over before healing, leaving an unsightly scab on the lips. Recurrences are common and can be triggered by stress, sun exposure, lowered immunity and menstruation. Genital herpes infection is a related condition although usually caused by herpes simplex 2.

Clinical trials have shown that taking Lysine orally seems to reduce recurrences of cold sores and may also reduce the severity and healing time of infections. However, Lysine Lip Clear is more than just Lysine.

Lysine Lip Clear also contains Bioflavonoids, which are natural synergistic partners for Vitamin C, and help aid its absorption. Research has also revealed that a combination of 200mg of Vitamin C plus 200mg of Bioflavonoids taken 3 times a day has been shown to inhibit the formation and bursting of the blisters.
