Food & Environment Allergy
The Food and Environmental Allergy Assessment is a safe and non-invasive test that utilises hair analysis to assess sensitivity to a broad range of food and environmental compounds.
Sensitivities and intolerances to foods and environmental compounds are on the increase, and can cause varying amounts of distress to the body. In many cases, the exact triggers for this distress cannot always be readily identified. The body systems that are most affected by these reactive compounds are the gastrointestinal and immune systems.
This hair test is able to identify sensitivity to a broad range of different substances including food and environmental compounds. Where applicable, the hair testing report will also provide nutritional supplement recommendations which are aimed at bringing the gastrointestinal and immune systems back into balance.
Vitamin & Mineral Assessment
The Vitamin and Mineral Assessment is a safe and non-invasive energy based test that utilises hair analysis to evaluate the presence of vitamins and minerals in the human body. The hair test analysis reports on deficiencies or an excess of nutrients that are of most importance to the body and its functioning.
A comprehensive profile for each nutrient is provided in the results section, including dietary and environmental sources of each nutrient. The hair test report will provide information on the presence of nutrients for the past 3 months.
Where applicable, the test will also provide nutritional supplement recommendations which are aimed at bringing nutrient levels back into balance.
This test is suitable for those individuals on restricted diets, chronic medication or for those who are just interested in their current nutrient status.
Heavy Metal & Toxic Element Assessment
The Heavy Metal and Toxic Element Assessment is a safe and non-invasive energy-based test that utilises hair analysis to detect the presence of heavy metals and toxic elements in the body. It provides information on 15 heavy metals (including arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury), pesticides, herbicides and other environmental toxins such as asbestos and dioxins. In addition, this test provides information on the presence of essential minerals such as copper, iron, manganese, selenium and zinc as well as comparative ratios of these nutrients to heavy metals.
This test also provides a full profile on each heavy metal and toxic element and their respective sources, both naturally-occurring and synthetic. Where applicable, the test will provide nutritional supplement recommendations to assist in reducing the heavy metal and toxic element load on the body.
Due to the ability of heavy metals and environmental toxins to remain in the body for extended periods of time, this test is suitable to be used for those with a prior history of exposure as well as those who are currently exposed. Please note that due to the multiple chemicals and contaminants in hair dyes, dyed hair is not suitable to be used for this test.
